Born in New York, USA in 2002, Alexandra began the harp at the Scuola Musicale di Milano (Milan, Italy). Her first teacher was Elena Gorna. She continued her studies with Beatriz Millán and Zoraida Ávila, at the Conservatorio Arturo Soria in Madrid, Spain. In 2016, she joined Ghislaine Petit-Volta’s class at the CRR in Paris. By the time she was sixteen, she had obtained her Diplôme d’Études Musicales, with the unanimous congratulations of the jury.
She shares her love of music with joy and enthusiasm, borne out by her success in several international competitions. In 2016, she won second prize at the International Contest of the Slovene Harp Association; a unanimous first prize at the Concurso Ibérico Isolda (Madrid, 2014); a unanimous first prize at the Léopold Bellan International Competition, and first prize at the Martine Géliot International Competition. Part of this last prize is a CD recording, coming soon.
