Elisa Jouve was born in 2002, the youngest of 4 children. She began the harp at the age of 7 with Marie Saint-Bonnet, at the Conservatoire de Châtenay Malabry. At the age of 11, Elisa started classes with Ghislaine Petit-Volta at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris. It was there that she became friends with Jeanne Duquesnoy who was learning the viola and who will play with her at the Harpes au Max festival.
A real “Prodigy”
She has stood out in various competitions, including the Clés d’or competition (Clés d’or prize in 2012 and 2013) and the Concours Français de la harpe in Limoges (first prize with distinction). In December 2015 she gave an outstanding performance on the television programme Les Prodiges (France 2), where she was voted ‘prodigy’ in the instrument category.
