A promising young Lithuanian music player, Aisté is currently a student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de la Musique et de la Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), where she is studying with Isabelle Moretti. The young musician fell in love with the harp when she was very young. After graduating from the National School of Fine Arts, “Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis” in Lithuania in 2001, Aisté continued her studies with Isabelle Perrin at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, where in 2014 she received her Concert Performance diploma. She has won several national and international competitions (French Harp Competition in Limoges, International Harp Competition in Szeged, Hungary) and has taken master classes with some of the best teachers in the world, adding to her experience. She has also played in many festivals and concerts in France, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia and Russia. In 2008 she was invited by a Japanese record company, King International Inc. to record her first disc, becoming the first Lithuanian harpist to have recorded solo. In 2011 she was awarded by the President of Lithuania, D. Grybauskaite, for the whole of her work, not only musical, and for her contribution to Lithuania’s reputation throughout the world.
Since 2012, Aisté has been the recipient of several foundation awards such as the Nadia and Lily Boulanger Foundation, Fonds de Tarrazi, Foundation Zygmunt Zaleski, Legs Jabès and Fondation de France (prix Monique Rollin).
